Job description:

• Coordination, communication, analysis and review of accounting and operational budgets and forecasts
• Ensuring thorough analysis, understanding and accounting compliance of monthly companywide financial results
• Key contributor in the development, establishment and refinement of the company growth strategy and business model
• Key contributor in insourcing and outsourcing strategy and analysis
• Key role in cross functional planning related to coordination and synergy around financial and operational infrastructure, business applications, and facilities related requirements
• Financial support in driving success of operation related business process re-engineering efforts
• Benchmarking performance and directions with peers and/or desired goals
• Key coordinator, driver and communicator of financial and business initiatives within the organization

Requirements:

• Previous direct finance support within a large organization is required.
• Exposure to all facets of finance and accounting is desired.
• 5+ years of related finance experience in a (minimum) $500MM environment is strongly desired.
• Candidate should have 2+ years experience as the senior principal finance person directly supporting a large organization.
• Candidate must possess excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels.
• Candidate needs to be able to balance strategic thinking and focus with tactical execution.
• Candidate needs to be a process and results oriented individual who has clearly exhibited initiative, ownership and the ability to get things done quickly.
• Candidate must be confident and comfortable in driving their own ideas and opinions and challenging others as appropriate.
• Firm understanding of finance and accounting principles, SOX, and GAAP are required.
• Previous management experience required.
• Big 4 experience preferred.

Education & Experience:

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience as a people manager is required.
• A University Degree, preferably in accounting or finance, is required.
• MBA, CPA or CMA is required.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, critical projects is required.
