In this fast paced, highly interactive role you will contribute to the achievement of net sales, profit and share objectives through the development and execution of effective and efficient customer business plans and by providing the Customer Development team with timely financial analysis and information to facilitate sound business decisions. The Business Analyst II - Customer Development role provides you with the opportunity to influence promotional activities with some of our most important customers. You will provide in-depth pre- and post-analysis of business promotional events for assigned customers and support the Walmart/Sam's Club Team by analyzing customer business trends and make recommendations that improve the volume and contribution profile for future promotional opportunities.

Job description:

  • Analyze all aspects of the business planning process for assigned customers including, but not limited to, target and objective reconciliation, initial plan analysis, recommendations for changes to meet targets, current plan tracking, recommendations to resolve issues, and final plan recapping and reconciliation.
  • Conduct pre and post-event analysis to evaluate the share impact, volume, marketplace effect, event accuracy, etc. and work with the Customer Development team members to drive volume and uncover business opportunities.
  • Review the business planning process and the development and execution of business plans. Provide sound recommendations that will improve the efficiency, accuracy, and overall effectiveness of the planning process.
  • Become an indispensable partner with Kimberly-Clark customers by providing insights, analysis, and forward thinking recommendations to drive mutually beneficial business results.
  • Conduct analysis as directed by the Sales Director or Business Development Manager in areas such as competitive trends, share trends, logistics, cost, and net sales; and make recommendations that improve the business or competitive situation with the customer.
  • Assist in developing training practices for the Business Analysis position. Provide support and guidance to new BA's.
  • Communicate consistently with team members on key business and trade spending issues, and work proactively to ensure the appropriate financial and business principles and initiative are included when developing customer plans and programs.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance related field
  • 5-7 years of progressive financial analysis or customer
  • management experience
  • Advanced computer skills using Excel, and PowerPoint to
  • prepare communications, financial/functional spreadsheets,
  • and presentations

Other Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated organizational skills to manage functional
  • workload, multiple priorities, and competing time demands.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize strategic
  • corporate tools and processes for data analysis.
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation skills to deliver
  • effective, confident, and results-oriented communications and presentations.
  • Developed interpersonal skills to function simultaneously as an integral part of multiple teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2-3 year's progressive category, customer management, or
  • trade marketing experience
  • MBA
  • A proven track record of high performance.
